This school year Band students jetsetted to Japan during Spring Break. They visited major cities such as Tokyo, Yokohama and Nagoya. As they travelled around, students learned about the rich cultures and traditions of Japan. Through the photos below students showcase their perspective on the experience- each deciding what was worthy of a press of the shutter button. These unique perspectives on our incredibly vast world, freeze a moment where their lives briefly intersected with a universe of stories entirely separate from their own. There is nothing like a new place to help each of us embrace the ‘sonder’.
